Position Summary
Required outputs: Functional
- Coordinate and control resources to ensure that appropriate methods and procedures are executed in support of business quality objectives.
- Render an analytical service to the business in terms of:
-QC (In process testing)
-QA (Final product testing)
- First line problem solving and corrective action
- Product management
-Batch classification
-Batch release for sales (usage decision)
-Bulk product release (for dispatch)
- Interface and deviation management
-SSS labs
-Shift manager for the different plant
-Pack line shift leader
-Warehouse shift leader
-Maintenance strategy (link-up with and influence on maintenance strategy)
-Monitoring of lab equipment availability
- Production reporting to management and other stakeholders
- Management of retained samples (ISO requirement)
- Management of scrap levels

- Monitor own overtime
- Shift hand over (start of shift, end of shift)
- Lab equipment integrity systems and procedures

Job Requirements
Job Requirements:
Qualifications and expertise required
- Grade 12 with Maths and Science
- Competent in techniques applicable to lab analyst
- Experience as a lab analyst is a must
- Minimum 3 - 4 years relevant experience
