Job Title:Senior Lecturer: Mathematics Education
Requirements:
•A Doctorate (PhD) degree in Mathematics Education.
•At least five (5) years’ teaching experience at tertiary level.
•Qualification in teaching.
•Proven research and publication record in accredited journals.
•Ability to provide supervision of doctoral, masters and honours students.
•Strong leadership and good communication and interpersonal skills.
•Computer Literacy.
Duties:
The successful applicant will be responsible for the following:
•Contribute towards the Department’s transformation and strategic goals.
•Conduct tutorials, demonstrations, workshops for students and staff.
•Initiate and develop course materials with course coordination.
•Participate in academic administration such as attendance at departmental, school and /or
faculty meetings.
•Preparation and delivery of lectures and seminars.
•Consultation, supervision and teaching of students at postgraduate and undergraduate level.
