Summation:
Responsible for assisting and providing support to the industry integration section with the execution of the Interbank Officer role, by:
Support the facilitation and co-ordination between Operations, IT/ Technical and Payments and Interbank
Sourcing info regarding payments developments in the market to ensuring that Postbank’s is aware of the developments

Key Responsibilities:

External
•Preparation for industry meetings by reviewing the minutes and formulating views on agenda items,
(including building relationship with various inter bank participants and the regulators)
•Facilitate operations industry / interbank requests i.e. receive industry requests and sending to relevant parties internally and following up with internal parties and responding to industry request within the agreed timelines
•Provide the necessary and required support to the line manager with regards to the industry

Internal
•Assist with the process, that stakeholders are kept abreast with in dustry developments (new business, new payments mechanisms, new legislation, developments from the Standard Bank, VISA and Bank serve Africa relationship)
•Review, identify payments aspects in documents and draft the necessary responses
•Provide information for stakeholder meetings General
•Assist with the implementation and execution of the overall payments strategy
•Assist with distribution of PASA documents to various stakeholders
•Read and research domestic and international payments trends and keep abreast of developments affecting payments

Minimum Requirements,

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Relevant 3 year Diploma (NQF 5) or Degree (NQF6)majoring in IT or Economics or Business Management
At least 1 year experience in the financial environment,
An understanding of the banking operations and
IT/technical systems is essential

Summation
Manage the Group Portfolio Office, in alignment with the company and business strategies to en
sure effective and efficient strategy deployment through overall program and project management within SAPO governance framework

Key Responsibilities
•Develop and implement a methodology, policy and procedure to manage the Group project/programmes portfolio within the risk and governance framework
•Track, measure and report on a monthly and ad-hoc basis the Group project/programme portfolio view from concept formulation to post-implementation review to all stakeholders (BOD, DOC, EXCO and
the Parliamentary Portfolio Committee).
•Identify and recommend ongoing process improvements regarding the project portfolio office (PPO)
system and MySAP interfaces, project management, policies and procedures and documentation management
•Ensure compliance to Group portfolio management policy and procedures and escalate deviations
• Ensure close interaction with BU Heads, project sponsors and project managers in BU’s and SU’s to
ensure team work, progress, regular updates on PPO system, attendance of program monitoring and project related meetings, resolve conflict and obstacles hindering delivery.
•Drive and monitor the change management within the Post Office environment to ensure compliance to agreed methodology of project management
•Initiate the accreditation of SAPO project managers with Project Management Institute
•Advice all stakeholders of the changes in the relevant legislation/regulations to ensure the efficient management and control/resources
•Ensure compliance in accordance with stipulations of the PFMA, fraud management and risk management principles, corporate governance, legislation, company policies, processes, industry related regulations etc.
