•    Participate in community service projects
•    Responsible for administrative tasks related to teaching and learning of related subjects
•    Industry liaison and involvement in the development of study material
•    Involvement in the supervision of post graduate students and research


Minimum Requirements

1.    Academic qualifications

•    Masters degree in civil engineering or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering.
•    Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering with relevant industry and teaching experience at university level will be considered.

2.    Minimum Experience:

•    Two years lecturing experience at tertiary level / two years industry experience
•    Experience with regards to management of academic mattes, quality of programmes and student affairs.

3.    Knowledge and Skills

•    Training skills that relate to the broad spectrum of duties and responsibilities that may contribute to the improvement of the performance of the department.

4.    Registration with professional body (if applicable):

•    ECSA registration or eligibility to register is an added advantage
