Job Title: Mid-Weight Digital Designer
Location: eNCA Online Department in Johannesburg

Reporting to the Head of Design, eNCA Online your key performance areaswill include:

             Take rough sketches of wireframes, sitemaps and UX Processes and turn them into high quality interactive designs.
             Working with developers ensuring design elements are translated accurately to the digital environment.
             Design layouts, graphical interface elements and other digital assets for a range of devices and applications including websites, mobile websites, mobile and tablet apps, newsletters.
             Working with the editors and reporters to interpret and produce high-end info-graphics for current and breaking news stories.
             Working with various internal departments to interpret and produce creative design requirements for the digital environment.
             Handle various graphics-related maintenance requests

Requirements:

             Passion and good understanding of design with a specialization toward the online environment
             A tertiary design qualification of at least two years
             Must be able to produce work of a consistently high standard under tight deadlines.
             Superior knowledge of current web-design trends and techniques
             At least 3-4 years experience working as a digital designer with an exciting digital portfolio that showcases this
             An understanding of the constraints and possibilities of various online interactive platforms.
             Ability to work within a team, collaborating and communicating effectively with people of varying technical levels and skills
             Fluent in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator and a good understanding of the Adobe Creative Suite
             Broadcast design experience would be beneficial but not essential
             Experience working with Apple (Advantageous)
             Experience working with HTML/CSS/Javascript/JQuery (Advantageous)
             An understanding of CMS systems (Drupal advantageous)

ROLE SUMMARY:
The Registered Nurse will render and promote cost effective, safe quality patient care in accordance with hospital standards and policies.
The incumbent will further be responsible for direct and/ or indirect nursing care of a patient or a group of patients, for assessing, planning, executing and supervising the implementation of care to meet patient needs, is a role model in the delivery of evidence based care and will actively participate in Clinical Governance.

KEY WORK OUTPUT AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
  • Audit of health records to ensure compliance
