•    Research and identify resources for funding of training programs in the rural community.
•    Identify and develop training programs for Woman in rural areas in conjunction with Department of Economic Development.
•    Writing proposals and business plans for submission to possible funders in Government Departments
•    Write progress reports and items to Council and Local Government Departments on functioning of Thusong Centre.
•    Network, liaise partnership with Departments of Government and other departments and Semi- Governmental Institutions.
•    Network with partners and other semi – governmental institutions and private sector
•    Manage Service Delivery Agreements / Arrangements with service providers
•    Ensuring the proper management and control over the use and maintenance of assets and equipment.
•    Maintaining order and discipline at the Thusong Centre and ensure the general cleanliness, neatness and security at the centre.
•    Compile and Implement policies, service standards and operational work procedures to improve the level of services and functioning of the Thusong Centre
•    General office administration duties, including handling of correspondence, filing, report writing and departmental procurement in terms of SCM Policy.
•    Determine needs regarding maintenance, furniture, tools and equipment for inclusion in the operational and capital budget.
•    Manage, monitor and control expenditure relating to Thusong Centre.
•    Daily supervision and management of staff by convening regular staff meetings.

SALARY SCALE :   R 214 595.40 – R 278 543.40  (T12)per annum
