Experience:

    Appropriate experience in packaging and delivery of stock and stocktaking.

Inherent requirement of the job:

    Physically fit to perform duties.

Competencies (knowledge/skills):

    Written and verbal communication skills in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape.
    Ability to prioritise tasks and sound interpersonal skills.

Duties (key result areas/outputs):

    Distribute of stock and non-stock items to the user departments.
    Receive goods delivered by the suppliers and check the conditions.
    Assist with spot checks and stock taking on stock items.
    Assist with recordkeeping in the stores by filing and copying of the documents.
    Keep stores neat and tidy.
    Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
