Duties and Responsibilities:

    Operation of Mobile Equipment including material handlers, cranes, wheel loaders and forklifts.
    Performing daily maintenance, greasing, filling out check sheets, and general housekeeping with the machines.
    Responsible for helping suppliers unload and grading/classifying incoming scrap materials with equipment and
    General Labor as required.

Responsibilities (Remuneration, Compensation, Benefits and Performance Administration)
Management and maintenance of remuneration policies and procedures:

    Develop and Review Compensation and Benefits Policies and Procedures.
    Compile policy and procedures in line with best practice principles and obtain approval

    Maintain benchmarks and surveys

    Determine the nature and extend and content of the benchmarking actions to be taken
    Develop a framework for the benchmarking in accordance with the nature of the benchmark
    Identify and develop the appropriate benchmarks, elements and determinants in accordance with the requirements
    Identify and compare relationships, dependencies and inter-dependencies
    Adjust current benchmarks in accordance with new information if required

    Update the systems with the new benchmarks and distribute to relevant role players

Management of the Performance Management process within the organisation:

    Ensure that all employees submit their performance contracts on time
    Management and maintenance of the performance management cycle i.e. setting of dates for contracting, performance reviews etc.
    Ensuring that all performance rewards i.e. bonuses are paid on time and that the correct data is inputted into the payroll system
    Ensuring that all data relating to performance management for all employees within the organization is received and maintained
    Overseeing of the overall performance management process on behalf of OutGrow
    Ensuring that any changes as they relate to performance management is communicated to the organization

Management and Maintenance of HR systems within sphere of control:

    Monitor HR Systems to determine maintenance actions/enhancements/development of new system(s) or receive a request for maintenance
    Facilitate and monitor completion of maintenance actions in accordance with policies and procedures
    Test system to ensure that maintenance was done in accordance with planned actions and requirements
    Manage the maintenance to ensure completion within the stipulated time frames
    Manage the maintenance of the HR Systems to ensure that information is relevant and current and contains the highest level of integrity


Structuring of packages in line with best practice and specific requests from LOB’s:

    Receive a request for restructuring, analyse to determine the level of structuring and the components involved, collect relevant information and arrange structuring meeting
    Structure the package in accordance with the needs of the individual i.e. Basic Benefits, Special Benefits, Taxation Benefits, Additional Benefits, incentives
    Forward structuring information to relevant role player(s) for processing, monitor processing actions to ensure implementation, document process and file
    Structure packages in accordance with policies, procedures and legal requirements and complete restructuring within the agreed upon time frame
    Monitor structuring advice provided by HR Colleagues, identify problem areas and implement corrective action (if needed)

Management of the Remuneration and Performance Team:

    Analyse the operational plan to determine the deliverables and determine the Human Resource requirements in accordance with the expected deliverables
    Ensure that all performance management, development and of the team members are met
    Track and monitor performance in accordance with policies and procedure

Ensure appropriate mentorship and coaching measures are given to all employees within sphere of control

REquirements:

•    A 3 or 4 year degree (B degree or B degree + honors) in HR or appropriate NQF level qualification
•    At least 3-5years relevant experience in Human Resources with specialist experience managing remuneration and benefits administration
•    Knowledge of all specialist spheres of HR including IR, Employee Wellness, Change Management, OD with a specific focus performance management and remuneration
