The abovementioned vacancy has become available at the Warehouse division in Middelburg, Mpumalanga.
Minimum Requirements

    Valid Grade 12 certificate.
    Valid licence to operate a Forklift up to 15 tons.
    12 months operating in diverse environments.
    Demonstration of mechanical insight in understanding the functioning of the equipment used.
    Demonstration of good coordinating capabilities and the ability to work in a team.
    Ability to read and understand documents in English.
    Ability to work under pressure.
    Clear ITC and criminal checks.

Job Specification
Customer Care

    Serving customers and fellow employees with respect, understanding and commitment to achieve service excellence.
    Responding courteously and immediately to customer queries and requests.
    Ensuring that the quality rendered is of the highest standard at all times and to appreciate that work of substandard quality is unacceptable.

Handling and Stacking of Cargo

    Moving of goods between designated locations as per set procedure.
    Assisting operations staff with minor administrative activities as required.
    Driving the vehicle within safety standards.
    Ensuring good stacking practice - cargo to be stacked neatly and safely.
    Ensuring that there are no delays with loading / offloading of trucks.
    Reporting all damages immediately to the Clerk-Operations / Manager -Operations.
    Ensuring that damages to cargo are kept below 0.25% of total throughput.
    Stacking all cargo in the correct locations.
    Ensuring good housekeeping of the machines.
    Apply standard operating procedures and adhering to all company policy, rules and regulations.

Health, Safety and Environment

    Operating the relevant vehicle with a valid driver licence according to specifications and safety standards.
    Conducting equipment checks as per checklist.
    Ensuring that there are zero fatalities.
    Reporting faults and damages to equipment, cargo and property.
