JOB TITLE: SENIOR INTERNAL AUDITOR
Chief Directorate: Internal Audit And Risk Management
SALARY:R212 106 per annum
CENTRE:Pretoria

REQUIREMENTS:

• Appropriate three-year Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Internal
• Auditing with appropriate experience in Internal Audit. 

Core competencies:

• Service delivery innovation. Problem-solving and analysis. Client orientation and customer focus. Communication. Honesty and integrity. 
• Technical competencies: Operational and performance audits 
• Risk management and audit practices 
• Public Finance Management Act and Treasury Audits.

DUTIES:
Execute planned audits, ad hoc and follow-up audits

• Assist in developing system description 
• Perform risk assessments 
• Document audit fieldwork and findings 
• Prepare audit working papers and the audit file

DEPARTMENT OF COOPERATIVE GOVERNANCE

The Department intends to invest in human capital, increase integrated technical capacity directed at service delivery and promote representivity in the Department through the filling of the post.
