Position Purpose

Ensure the quality of existing or new IT solutions in accordance with the business requirements and, functional and non-functional requirements.

Location

The above-mentioned position is currently available in our MMI Wellness and Rewards division based at our office in Centurion.

Experience & Qualifications

Diploma: Information Technology
Qualification preferred: Testing Qualification (Courses) ISTQB / ISEB
Minimum of 5 to 8 years experience in software testing
Previous Team lead experience required

Ensure the agreed deliverables within the project are delivered within the stipulated timeframe and according to business requirements and continuous process improvement.

-Early detection of defects
Quality Assurance:
Software quality assurance of new and existing products/development.
-Execute test cases successfully
-Perform required defect logging and tracking
-Perform root cause analysis on defects to shorten defect lifecycle
-Minimum comeback from UAT Testing
-Minimum amount of 'Minor'system errors after release
-No 'Critical/Major' system errors after release
Test Design:
Perform high quality test design which includes the following.
-Test scripting
-Test traceability matrix
-Reusable and modular test case design
Test Estimation:
Perform accurate test time estimation and deliver within the estimated time.
-Test Analysis
-Test Case Creation and
-Test Execution
Test Analysis:
-Perform accurate test analysis by reviewing/inspection of specifications and requirement documentation.
-Suggestions and recommendation on system usability
