ROLE SUMMARY
The accountant will provide a full support to the financial function within the Head Office Finance Division
KEY WORK OUTPUT AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Processing and reconciling bank accounts
- Reconciling inter-company loan accounts
- Month end general journal preparation and processing
- Interest calculations
- Full fixed asset function
- Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Preparation of monthly management reports
- Completion of monthly financial packs
- Calculation, submission and payment of vat
- Budget preparation
- Audit preparation
- Disclosure schedule preparation
- Tax pack preparation
- Payment preparation
- Invoice preparation
- Electronic banking
- Stock take auditing
- Any other adhoc projects as required by management
SKILLS PROFILE
EDUCATION
Essential
- A B.Com degree or equivalent NQF level 6 qualification and Printed copies of this document are uncontrolled and must be destroyed after use
Essential
- A minimum of 3 years working experience in a financial department
Essential
- Highly Computer Literacy
- SAP and Excel experience is essential
