Job Title: Graphic Designer

Location: Centurion

    Position Purpose

    Designs and produces art and copy layouts for material to be presented by mediums such as books, magazines, newspapers, electronic media, and marketing collateral (print and electronic).

    Experience & Qualifications

    Bachelor of Arts:
    Graphic Design.
    Environments:
    Macintosh and PC
    Experience preferred:
    Computer literacy requirements - Adobe InDesign, Illustrator,Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Acrobat Pro, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
    Minimum of 5 years experience.
    Qualifications:
    Technikon / AAA / Open Window Diploma.

    The Incumbent will be responsible for:

    Internal Collaboration:
    Effective and consistent service delivery and support to all internal clients.
    Design:
    Design the layout of magazines, brochures, flyers and other marketing collateral according to specifications received (Print, Web and Electronic).
    Manage production:
    Manage the production of marketing elements:
    Project brief
    Deadline
    External Suppliers
    External Designers
    Quality of final product
    Obtain quotes
    Individual Contribution:
    Creative contributions towards marketing campaigns when required.
    Develop new ideas and concepts for campaigns.
    Compliance:
    Ensure compliance to corporate ID across the business unit.
    Performance and Development:
    Manage own performance and development.
    Performance Contract in place.
    Quarterly performance review discussion with manager.
    Updated and Signed Personal development plan.
    Values:

    Value Assessment Result at acceptable levels.
