knowledge of the following Financial
accounting , auditing and
performance audits

Knowledge and understanding of Local Government.
Key outputs

The
Audit Committee will fulfill
its oversight responsibilities to ensure
that the Department maintains
effective , efficient and
transparent systems of financial , risk management , governance
and internal control
·
Reports of significant investigations and response
of Management to specific recommendations
·
The risk
areas of the Department ‘s
operations to be covered in
the scope of internal and
external audits
