Minimum Requirements

Qualification(s):
• BSc Eng/B Eng(Mechanical)
• Registration with ECSA as Candidate Engineer(Engineering Council for South Africa)

 Experience:
• Completed Training Programme for Graduates or 2 years related experience

Key Responsibilities

• Co-ordinate master data integrity and change control
• Optimise the performance of allocated plant
• Identify and resolve problematic plant issues
• Manage plant modifications. Manage engineering projects
• Provide technical advice and assistance
• Perform any other legitimate activity as required
• Development of optimised maintenance strategies and plans to assure the long term integrity of the plant, including the technical Plan (LOPP/TP). Accountability for the performance of plant systems and components
• Provide scope of work for outage link plant/system
• Perform life cycle costing for your allocated plant
• Explore new technologies that will ease bottleneck within your plant/systems
• Think creatively and logically to resolve various issues in the development process
• Develop detailed design layout that covers the requirement of the client
• Analyse survey reports, maps, drawings, blueprint, aerial photography and other topographical data
