Minimum Requirements
Qualification(s) :
• A relevant 4 year degree in business management, IT, or engineering.
• Certification with the international Business Continuity institute (BCI).
• Professional Registration: Registration with an Eskom recognised professional institute

Experience
• 7 Years
• Working experience in professional / management capacity in the areas of business continuity management, disaster management, and emergency preparedness.
• A track record of leading multi-stakeholder professional team initiatives of a highly complex nature.

 Annually review of strategies and tactical responses
 Efficiency of the consolidation of strategies and tactical responses
o Leading the development and implementation of business continuity plans for all critical processes in Eskom
 The availability of up-to-date plans for all critical processes
 The comprehensiveness and quality of the plans (audit)

Key Responsibilities

• Advising on the implementation of world class Business Continuity management processes across Eskom (including integration with disaster management requirements)
• Leading the analysis of the organisation’s business continuity requirements
• Leading the development of business continuity strategies across the Eskom value chain
• Leading the development and implementation of business continuity plans for all critical processes in Eskom
• Leading the exercising, maintenance and review of business continuity plans across Eskom
• Providing management reports to the Eskom Board, EXCO, Mancom, and Divisional Mancom.
• Review, mentoring and coaching
