Title: Senior Curriculum Development Practitioner

The Higher Education Development and Support (HEDS) division has a permanent position for a Senior Curriculum Development Practitioner in the Directorate of Curriculum Development and Support (CDS) at any of the TUT learning sites.
Minimum Requirements:
• A Doctoral degree in Education, Curriculum Studies, Higher Education Studies.
• Three years’ experience in curriculum development and staff development in an academic environment in Higher Education
• Extensive understanding and experience of curriculum development and support in the context of the Higher Education Qualification Sub-Framework (HEQSF) and other relevant national policies and legislation
• Extensive understanding and experience of professional development of academic staff in a higher education
Critical Performance Areas
• Facilitating curriculum development activities in a specific faculty (plan, design, implement, monitor, review and evaluate).
• Contributing to the development of polices and strategies related to curriculum development.
• Facilitating staff development initiatives on a University-wide basis.
• Participating in the design and development of staff development programmes.
• Participating in research on higher education development and support, curriculum development, staff development or any closely related field.
• Performing administrative duties related to curriculum development.
