Tshwane University of Technology has a permanent position of Lecturer/Senior Lecturer (Occupational Health) at the Pretoria Campus.
Key Performance Areas:
• To teach Occupational Health subjects to B-Tech Nursing students
• To participate in Curriculum Development activities
• Participate in research activities of the department
• Will be expected to actively participate in research and community engagement activities
• Liaise with industry on subject level regarding curricula, excursions, research and innovation
• Liaison with various stakeholders e.g. SANC, Department of Health, Public and Private Sectors, industry, etc
• Participate in the Departmental, Faculty and Institutional activities
• Responsible for administrative tasks relating to the learning programmes of the Department

Minimum Requirements:
Senior Lecturer
• A relevant Doctoral degree plus a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
• An additional qualification in Nursing Education
• Registered at the South African Nursing Council as a Professional Occupational
Health Nurse and Nurse Educator
• Teaching experience in Nursing is a Requirement
• Five (5) years of teaching, research and/or industry experience
• Previous postgraduate supervision
Lecturer
• At least a relevant Master’s degree plus a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
• An addition qualification in Nursing Education
• Registered at the South African Nursing Council as a Professional Occupational
Health Nurse and Nurse Educator
• Teaching experience in nursing is a requirement
• Three (3) years of teaching, research and/or industry experience
