The University seeks to appoint a qualified and dedicated person as Chairperson of TUT Bargaining Forum on a two year contract. The successful candidate will report to the Director: Employee Relations, a division of Human Resources and Transformation.
Minimum requirements
• NQF Level 7 (Relevent qualification)
• 5 or more years experience in the field of Labour Relations
• Knowledge and Experience in Dispute Resolution and Mediation
• Experience and Coordinating and Chairing Negotiation Forums
Critical Performance Areas
• Chairing and Facilitation of Negotiations and Consultative meetings
• Mediation and Advisory Services
• Dispute Handling and Providing Legal Opinion on matters at hand
• Report Writing and Presentation
• Facilitation of Special Multi Party Special Workshops
• Advising the parties on the best practice and options available
Remuneration:
The successful person will be paid a daily fee equivalent to that of a Senior Commissioner of the CCMA.
NB: this position is only available to South African Nationals.
