Manager: Operations Support
Applications are invited for the position of Manager: Operations Support, based at Isando. The successful applicant will be reporting to the Executive: Operations.
Major activities:
• Lead and manage the Operations Support department and staff
• Oversee and manage Operations statistics reporting . Operations staff reporting, track and report all Operations personnel and monitor Operations personnel licensing compliance
• Compile and oversee the Operations department budget as well as the overall Operations personnel training budget
• Plan, coordinate, manage and monitor training and development of abinitio and licensed Operations personnel (AIMO, ATSO and ATCO) in consultation with the Senior Managers in Operations and the Manager: CAMU
• Prepare and maintain the Operations Human Capital Implementation Plan in consultation with the Senior Managers in Operations and Manager: CAMU
• Monitor Operations budget and consolidate variance reporting by Senior Managers and Manager: CAMU
• Coordinate Operations training requirements with Aviation Training Academy
• Prepare, consult monitor and report on the implementation of the Operations training plan
• Coordinate with the Human Capital Department in respect of the management and oversight of the ATNS Bursar programme
• Research and develop training and staffing concepts and models
• Develop, benchmark and implement appropriate performance metrics for all aspects of ATNS Operations
• Monitor and report monthly to the Executive on Operations' performance against the approved performance metrics
• Monitor and report monthly to the Executive or progress towards achievement of Operations' human resource plan
• Assist and provide input to the relevant Operations stakeholders in the development and implementation of business plans, processes, policies, proposals, reports and procedures with Operations
Minimum qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with major subjects in Business Planning and Processes, Quantitative Analysis and Reporting.
Minimum experience:
• 4 years' experience in business planning and processes or quantitative analysis and reporting and 2 years management experience.
