Position Summary

Purpose of the job:

Accountable for first line leadership and management of team members to enable the work of self and team members and building their expertise and skills, and deliver frontline team results such as Safety, Production, Maintenance, Quality, Cost and Motivation. 
Job Requirements

Qualifications and expertise required (Must)
-BSc Eng / B Eng / B Tech Chemical Engineering or Equivalent

Job specification
-Operational , Financial and Technical results:
-Process unit optimization;
-Unit performance monitoring;
-Technical problem solving;
-Implementation of modifications;
-Profit improvement concepts;
-Process energy improvement.

Management results:
-Co –ordination and liaison with other functional divisions
-Plan, prioritise and execute monthly tasks thoroughly and independently;
-Render input with respect to process division strategies;
-Generate monthly reports;
-Management of technical shutdown activities;

Leadership and Growth results:
-Management of a production and optimisation area with subordinates

Customer and Relationship results :
-Maintain and expand client trust

General:
