Requirements/Competences

Set and balance cameras prior to production
Set, balance and testing recording machine/s before recording
Knowledge & understanding of broadcasting standard.
Knowledge & understanding of TV operations system, workflows and processes
Knowledge, understanding and application of video control equipment, including cameras and recording equipment.
Able to use digital and analogue measuring instrument/s
Knowledge, understanding of OHS
Artistic interpretation of TV pictures.
Able to monitor technical quality during production.
Able and application of definition and high definition principles.
Provide advice at pre-production or during production meeting.

Minimum qualifications:

Grade 12
Equivalent qualification or relevant experience with production environment

Good eye-sight and hearing
Good hands and eye coordination
Good team player
Abel to maintain concentration
Creative thinking
Thinking adaptability (flexibility)
Emotional maturity
