Requirements/ Competencies:
- Rig and de-rig studio lights (ordinary lights and moving lights) and associated equipment according to lighting plan and SOP.
- Check if lights are in good working conditions prior to production.
- Install sets accordance with production.
- Set dressing in accordance to production plan.
- Removal and storing sets after production in accordance with SOP.
- Destroy obsolete sets.
- Repair of studio floor to ensure smooth operation of cameras according to Company standard
- Knowledge, understanding and compliance with OHS
- Check all sets for minor repairs and restore to specification before installation.
- Give support to lighting designers when required.
- Safe storage of moving lights according to SOP.
- Set and floor painting according to specification.
- Able to understand and rig lighting according to lighting plan.
- Able to understand and rig sets according to floor plan.
- Grade 12
- Relevant experience with production environment
- Relevant experiencing in handling studio lights including moving lights.
