    Purpose of the role
        To support the line manager in custodianship of the Bank’s Credit Policies
        To filter and analyze information in order to influence credit strategies and policies within Capitec Bank
        To assist Credit Operations in developing processes to monitor credit policies and processes

    Requirements:

        Grade 12
        A relevant degree in business/commerce/economics (e.g. B.Com,B.Econ, B.Bus Sci) with 2 – 3 years’ credit management and / or analysis experience within a financial services or retail credit environment

    Or

            A relevant post-graduate degree in business/commerce or a professional qualification (e.g.B.Com Hons in Financial Management/Economics, CIMA)
            Understanding of Budgeting and accounting principles and Basic financial mathematics
            Understanding of the below would be preferred:
            Credit risk calculations, including arrears and provisioning
            National Credit Act and the implication for Capitec Bank’s business.
            The retail credit industry
            Credit risk management
        Communication skills (verbal & written) in English
        Computer literacy (Intermediate MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook)
        Financial and business acumen
        Analytical and numerical skills
        Business writing skills
        Negotiation and relationship management skills
        Presentation and facilitation skills
        Planning and organizational skills
        Problem solving
        Team player
        Ability to motivate self (self-starter)
        Ability to work under own initiative without guidance, cope well under sustained pressure and deliver to deadlines
        Own reliable transport and valid driver’s licence are per-requisites: the position will be based in Stellenbosch, but would require regular travel to Bellville Regional Offices for client meetings.
        Be able to travel nationally when required (project based)

        This position requires the incumbent to be available after hours in case of emergency
        This position requires the incumbent to work overtime when required
        Clear credit and criminal record
