State Accountant Job at Department of Energy in Pretoria

JOB TITLE: STATE ACCOUNTANT (DEBT & REVENUE MANAGEMENT)

SALARY: R170 799 per annum
LEVEL:07
CENTRE: Head Office (Pretoria)

REQUIREMENTS:

A Bachelor’s degree or National Diploma in financial related field and with clerical/admin experience particularly in finance environment PLUS the following key competencies
  • Knowledge of PFMA and Treasury Regulations

DUTIES/KRA’s:
Administer and maintain records of Departmental debtors
  • PMG account and bookkeeping activities
  • Administer cashier’s office activities
  • Clear and reconcile revenue/debt related ledger accounts
  • Prepare and consolidate monthly revenue/debt registers
  • Provide advice and handle revenue/ debt related queries
  • Administer cell phones, telephone accounts and 3G’s
  • Supervise and develop staff.
