SALARY:Salary: R934 866.00 per annum.
All-inclusive flexible remuneration package consisting of a basic salary of 70% and a 30% flexible portion structured according to personal needs).
The successful candidate will be required to sign a performance agreement. (Level 14)
REQUIREMENTS:
An appropriate Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Economics, Social Sciences or Development Studies or in a relevant field
• An appropriate Post Graduate qualification will be an added advantage
•At least 5 years’ working experience in a management position
• Knowledge of monitoring and evaluation of infrastructure projects
• Ability to establish and maintain good relations with key stakeholders at various levels of seniority
• Good communication skills
• Advanced negotiation, problem solving, data analysis and analytical skills
• Knowledge of research methodologies and data management
• Ability to travel extensively around the country.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Engage with stakeholders at all levels in government and the private sector on various infrastructure projects to be implemented.
• Monitor progress on the various Strategic Integrated Projects (SIPs).
• Provide analytical and strategic insights into the delivery of the various SIPs
•Oversee the delivery of various programmes and outcomes in relation to the PICC
• To manage the resources of the component
• Unblock issues in relation to the rollout of infrastructure
• Make recommendations on viable options for unblocking to decision makers
• Collaborate with national, provincial and local Government departments, and business, labour and other stakeholders to develop and implement interventions to infrastructure challenges
• Track the effectiveness of interventions
• Conduct monitoring and evaluation site visits to infrastructure projects as required
