JOB TITLE: ACCOUNTING CLERK ( BUDGETS), DEPARTMENTAL AND DONOR FUND MANAGEMENT

SALARY: R115 212 per annum
LEVEL:05
CENTRE :Head Office (Pretoria)

REQUIREMENTS:
A Grade 12 with relevant clerical or admin experience in Finance environment PLUS the following key competencies:
  • Knowledge of Accounting principles Understanding of the PFMA
  • Understanding of Treasury Regulations
  • General budgeting principals Skills
  • Computer literate in MS Excel, Ms Word
  • Numerical and analytical skills
  • Good writing skills
  • Results orientated and self-driven
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Communication: Good communication skills (verbal and writing)
  • Ability to interact with several levels of staff
  • Creativity
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems
  • Ability to ability to work under pressure Spreadsheets and databases

DUTIES/KRA’s:

  • Request BAS reports and compile cash flow statements (budget and Expenditure control statements)
  • Maintain existing and new budget files and filling system
  • Capture budget adjustments on BAS (shifting of funds, virement approvals, roll-over funds, AENE allocations)
  • Compile tables and capture data during annual budget processes (MTEF, ENE and AENE, roll-over)Assist with secretarial support to Finance Committee

RECOMMENDATION/ NOTE:
Bachelor’s Degree/National Diploma in Accounting/Commerce will be an added advantage
