JOB TITLE: DEPUTY DIRECTOR: DELIVERY AGREEMENTS

Chief Directorate: Programme and Project Planning
SALARY: R495 603 per annum (all inclusive salary package)
CENTRE: Pretoria

REQUIREMENTS:
A degree in Law with emphasis on the Law of Contract. Experience in drafting contracts and other documentation within the context of relevant legislative prescripts and managing compliance thereto. Knowledge of National Housing and Human Settlement Policies and Programs.
A minimum of three (3) years management experience.
Experience in drafting documentation for managing mega housing and human settlement projects which require Inter-governmental collaboration.
Good communication, drafting, leadership, interpersonal relations, financial and management skills.
A valid Code B driver’s licence.
Computer skills and knowledge of project management systems and processes.
Willingness to travel to the identified National projects.

DUTIES:
Assisting in the development of implementation of protocols for identified
strategic human settlement
projects in line with the Inter-governmental Relations Framework Act, 2005 (Act 13 of 2005) (IGRF).
Facilitate the management of contractual obligations of role players in identified projects in relation to compliance with relevant protocols as well as identify deviations and advise on
mitigating measures.
Support the monitoring, inter alia, of the implementation of identified strategic projects within the ambit and scope of the project delivery agreements as well as preparing and implementing mitigation strategies and reporting quarterly on the outcomes.
Assist with the preparation of all responses to queries in relation to enquiries from Parliament, the Auditor General and the general public.
Assist in the provision of support to the Chief Directorate, to achieve its mandate as required.
