JOB TITLE: COMPLIANCE & RISK SPECIALIST

SALARY: R495 603 per annum (all inclusive package) (Salary Level 11)

REQUIREMENTS:
An 3 year degree/diploma or equivalent qualification (NQF Level 6) in Law or Business Environment
* 3-5 years applicable experience in a strategy and compliance reporting or business environment
* Knowledge & understanding the 15 compilation of business strategic outputs
* Knowledge on the compilation of business results
* Good understanding of monitoring and evaluation within government
* Good understanding of PFMA, Treasury regulations an
d Public Service Act of 1994
* Monitoring and Reporting Standards Performance
*Corporate compliance certification will be an added advantage.
DUTIES:
Key Performance Areas:
Primarily accountable to design strategy and reporting models to ensure compliance to government performance monitoring and reporting standards
* Accountable for the compilation of the performance report
in collaboration with relevant Branch contributors
* Design policy, procedures, frameworks and implementation plans to ensure successful execution
* Ensure
that daily operations of the organisation are meeting the required standards,
policies and laws i.e PFMA, Treasury Regulations, Public Service Regulations,
etc.
* Design and implement policies and controls to address non- compliance
*Identify, analyze, investigate and correct any potential compliance risks
*Implement necessary actions to ensure achievement of the objective of an effective and efficient risk based compliance program
* Clarify statutory, regulatory and legal obligations for GPW and understand GPW risk profile
*Implement the compliance and risk management register/programs and review
according to environmental changes
* Identify and communicate activities towards implementation of plans that would improve compliance and risk management within branches
* Conduct periodic compliance and risk audits and assessments and develop mitigation plans
* Develop an organizational dashboard/reports for regular feedback on the implementation of strategic initiatives
* Ensure accurate, comprehensive and timely reporting on compliance and risk managemen
