Job Title: Manager

Main Purpose:

Accounting Consulting Services is an accounting consulting business providing accounting advisory services to engagement teams and clients in Southern Africa and the rest of Africa. The department is currently experiencing growth, driven by long term client relationships and a strong senior team. In order to take full advantage of the existing growth opportunities we are looking for an ambitious and highly motivated person to join our team.

Responsibilities/Output:

•The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work on the latest accounting developments and assist in communicating these developments throughout the firm and to the marketplace.

• Support the African practice primarily Southern Africa and the ACS Directors with respect to work arising from the firm's representation on various professional bodies - commenting on exposure drafts or proposed interpretations.

•Preparing and presenting presentations on various accounting issues

•Performing research on accounting matters, legislation and regulatory issues affecting disclosure

•Addressing enquiries raised by engagement teams and presenting complex findings to PwC directors, staff and senior executives of clients

•The department offers a great place to learn and a high level of mental stimulation for self -motivated and driven individuals

Requirements
Qualification Level: CA (SA)    
Additional Qualification Level: n/a
Experience Required: 1 - 2 years
