Job Title: Communications Officer
Main Purpose:
To support the implementation of the firm’s internal communication function on an operational level, i.e. be involved in all internal communication tasks on an operational level. This position will report directly to the Communications Manager.

Responsibilities/Output:
Assist the National Communication Manager and Senior Manager in implementing and monitoring all communication duties as set out in the Organisational Communication Strategy for the Southern African firm, as well as for individual service lines and industry groups (stakeholders)
Gathering of content for the various communications channels and media (print and electronic) and ensuring that content is appropriate
Liaising with relevant role-players, including internal clients (partners and managers) and MCBD support functions (Digital team, Design Studio, Marketing co-ordinators etc)
Project managing the production of the internal staff newsletter, including content gathering, copywriting, overseeing design, quality control, printing and distribution
Scheduling and creating content for CC&WR Writing copy for various marketing communications/web, with particular focus on social media channels
Co-ordinating related administrative tasks, such as display and distribution
Maintaining distribution lists (posters, internal staff newsletter, selected service line newsletters)
Manage the relationship with Language Solutions Adhoc related duties
Co-ordinate the various internal communications initiatives of the Southern African firm, including, but not limited to:
•Weekly and bi-weekly poster campaigns
•Bi-monthly internal staff newsletter (Face)
•Various communications projects for internal clients
•Internal language/writing newsletter
•Administering Language Services database and liaising with service provider
•Copywriting and editing
Requirements
Qualification Level: B.Com Degree / Diploma
Additional Qualification Level: n/a
Experience Required: 2 - 3 years
