Purpose of Role:

Developing, maintaining and executing database queries for the purpose of integrity checking.

Requirements:

    National Senior Certificate (Grade 12) or National Certificate (Vocational)
    Relevant tertiary Financial Accounting qualification (B.Com)
    At least 2 to 3 years’ experience in a banking and finance environment
    SQL and advanced Excel experience would be preferred
    Financial reconciliation background
    Programming VB/VBA and/or T-SQL preferred
    Knowledge of:
    Computerised accounting systems and principles
    Financial analysis and interpretation
    Capitec Bank’s banking systems (i.e. Bancs or Postilion) would be advantageous
    High Attention to detail
    Valid driver’s licence
    Own transport
    Clear criminal and credit record
