Job Title:    Instrumentation Technician

Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
•  All activities under his/her control regarding safety, effective cost management and superision of subordinates
•  Ensuring that all codes of practice and standard operation procedures are understood and adhered to
•  Ad Hoc and any other reasonable duties as and when requested from time to time.

MInimu Requirements:
•  Qualified as an Instrun=mentation Technician (Red Seal) with S4, N6 or T3 Diploma qualifications
•  2 years' relevant operational experience as a qualified Instrumentation Technician
•  Experience in PLCs and SCADA, Telemetry, USPs, Fibre Networks Plant and Process Control Systems
•  Experience in various Instrumentation Equipment
•  Fluency in English and Afrikaans
•  Willingness to work underground
•  Computer literacy
•  Problem-solving skills
•  Good interpersonal and liaison skills
•  A valid Code B/EB driver's licence

The candidate will be appointed on the condition of being certified medically fit as per the Mine Health and Safety Act, 29/1996
