Improvement Manager
A leading engineering company is seeking to appoint a
hand-on individual to provide the specialist skills and expertise required to
directly support the business units in embedding their business systems within
their normal ways of working and facilitating the delivery of a result driven
programme of kaizen events in order to achieve a culture of continuous improvement.
The successful candidate will be expected to travel extensively
Skills and experience will include:
·
Six sigma black belts certified
·
Extensive knowledge of and experience of working
with lean continuous improvement and problem solving tools and techniques
Key performance areas:
·
Provide direct support to ensure the successful
delivery of major keizen events within the business units through the combined
application of facilitation skills and lean/6 sigma tools
·
Promote the principal of the business system to
ensure it becomes engrained in the company’s culture and ways of working
·
Ensure that local business units are sustaining benefits
already realized, achieving continuously improving standards of working and
best practice sharing
·
Promote collaborations amongst local champions
and managers at all levels to enable optimum sharing and adoption of best
practice throughout the business
