Requirements:
•
B.Com Degree with Accounting
OR
At least NQF level 5 qualification in fields of Accounting,
Finance or Economics
OR
•
National Diploma Public Finance Management and Administration
•
Relevant NQF Level 6 will be preferable
•
Minimum of five (5) years relevant experience of which at least 2 years must be at middle
management level
•
Together with National Treasury Minimum competency requirements as amended in terms of
Circular 60 and relevant experience as listed below:

Key Performance Areas:
•
Strategically manage the Revenue Management Section to a level of enhancing the financial
sustainability of the Metropolitan
•
Controls all accounting and administration
functions relating to the department
•
Assists the Chief Financial Officer with Operations of the Finance Directorate
•
Attends to legal matters

Attends to staff related matters
•
Attends Council, Standing Committee and Departmental Meetings
