Job description:

Providing inspection support to manufacturing as required in: process inspection Audits of production processes Measuring equipment control Control of quality records and reports Inspection of incoming sub-contracted components To analyze defects and to assist in implementing the root cause problem solving by: Monitoring of reworks Scrap reduction Monitoring of NCR / CAPAInspection of fabrications, precision machined components, subassemblies and final build assemblies

Key Accountabilities:

Inspection using measuring equipment and machinesTo produce detailed inspection reportsTo work on co-operation with team members to achieve desired product qualityRaise non-conformance / corrective action and preventative action reportsInspection areas cover fabrication, machining, sub-contracting and manufacture to final product inspectionEnsure adherence to ISO 9001 standardsEnsure adherence to OHSE&E policiesEnsure tidiness and physical appearance of the work place is maintained (5S )To perform other duties time to time, as may be required by the company

Experience requirements:

5 Years experience in precision/manufacturing engineering inspectionMetalurgical laboratory experienceMS Office (Word & Excel))

Knowledge:

Extensive experience within an assembly manufacturing enviroment as a Quality Inspector

Matric
