Job Title: PKI SYSTEM CONTROLLER

Reports to: Manager: PKI Certificate Management
Job Description
Process applications for CA’s, RA’s and SSL’s. Administer and control access to PKI
systems. Analyze data and compile management reports.
Key Responsibilities
•Administer the issuance, revocation and suspension of digital certificates.
•Provide second line support to Help Desk Services
•Process applications for Certification Authority and
Registration Authorities
•Report on digital certificates i.e. totals, trends and usage.
•Ensure only authorized access to Administration Section
•Develop end-user training material
•Conduct end-user training
•Participate in the development, testing and implementation of Trust Centre PKI Application Software
Minimum Requirements, Qualifications and Experience and Knowledge
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
•A National 3 year IT Diploma / Degree (NQF Level 5)
•At least 1-3 years experience in an IT Application implementation environment
KNOWLEDGE
•Sound working knowledge of a project support environment within IT
•Sound working knowledge of Systems Development Life Cycle
•Good understanding of IT fundamentals and terminology
•An advanced knowledge of MS Office, MS Project and Internet search engines.

•Good written and verbal communication abilities, with focus to reporting requirements
•Strong planning, organising and co-ordination abilities
•Good interpersonal relationship skills: Candidate must have
experience of working within a team and
have good stress management skills
•Accuracy / attention to detail
•Good listening / persuasive skills
•Ability to maintain confidentiality
