JOB TITLE: LOGISTICS MANAGER
Location: eNCA department in Cape Town

Reporting to the Managing Editor your Key Performance Areas will include:

    Coordinate all incoming and outgoing feeds
    Coordinate all edits, giving priority to the order of the rundown
    Ensure that all stories are available in both Dalet and on tape in time for the broadcast
    Ensure that all edits are correct and QC’ed prior to broadcast
    Check for Technical errors with physical tape, and
    Check for Technical errors editing
    Check against script for Content errors
    Help organise live outside broadcasts and live shots Trouble shooting technical aspects of the news broadcast

Requirements:

             Editorially astute
             Interested in News and Current Affairs
             Cool under pressure
             Excellent communicator
             Ability to deal with diverse and sometimes difficult personalities
             Strong technical aptitude a must
             Ability to prioritize, and make decisions rapidly
