The Department of Computer Science has two permanent position for a Senior Lecturers at the Soshanguve South Campus.


Critical Performance Areas/Core functions

Knowledge in any of the following areas:

•    Formal aspects of computing
•    Data structures and algorithms
•    Data mining/Data warehousing
•    Software modeling
•    Or any other current fields of study in computer science

Core functions:

•    Teach diploma/graduate and postgraduate students
•    Be involved in research related activities
•    Supervise postgraduate students
•    Be involved in fostering partnership with industry and other istitutions
•    Be involved in community services.


Minimum Requirements
•    A Doctoral Degree in Computer Science


Minimum Experience
•    At least five (5) years of teaching experience at university level.
•    A proven track record of active involvement in teaching and research publications in peer reviewed journals and conference proceeding is required.
•    Industrial experience will be an advantage..
