Requirements:
Grade 8-11.
Ability to read and write.
Be prepared to work shifts on Rotational
basis.
Must have good interpersonal skills.
Appropriate Knowledge of food or previous experience.
Able to work shift (late and early), able to work weekends
and Public Holidays.
Able to do work of physical nature.
Duties:
Perform all general duties related to food service delegated
by the supervisor such as preparation of food, dishing up for patients,
application of hygiene and safety, weighing of ingredients for production and
work as a messenger.
Perform routine tasks in the food service unit and operate
machinery.
Perform general cleaning tasks as assigned to you and maintain
hygiene and safety measures in the unit.
Washing of dishes, crockery and cutlery.
Dishing up of patients food according to portion control
measures.
Loading of food into patient transport trolleys and Distribution
thereof.
Preparing and packing of patient’s meals, beverages, Snacks,
fluids and bread.
Unpacking and packing provision into fridges and freezers.
