Product Manager Specialist - Reward Level 18

Key responsibilities

• Impart business and subject matter expertise to the organization within sphere of control.

• Responsible for the business case and  of all the CPE which are sold independently or along with Satellite Services  and IP services

• Manage the individual product management budget

• Ensure briefing and training of sales department on product developments and new products

• Management and marketing of the  business unit to various internal and external stakeholders

• Develop, review and implement a group of product strategy, in close consultation with TCL and Neotel network services group

• Alignment with TCL and other functions of Neotel

• Establishing partnership with CPE vendors

• Managing the commercial contracts with the CPE vendors

• Oversee the steering of services launch processes, in close consultation with the marketing, sales and technology departments

• Ensure legal and regulatory departments have been consulted on product launch processes

• Oversee the management of individual services  lifecycles in terms of factors such as product, pricing and promotion

Requirements, Experience and Attributes

The ideal candidate for this post should have the following:

Qualification and Skills:

• 3 or 4 year degree (B degree or B degree + honours) in business administration or appropriate NQF level qualification

Experience:

• 3 to 5 years of work experience in a related environment
