Job Title: Handyman

The role

The Handyman will be responsible for all preventative and reactive maintenance in the Johannesburg Campus including maintaining stock levels of the maintenance store.
The requirements

    National Senior Certificate (Grade 12) or National Certificate (Vocational)
    Two years’ general proven handyman experience as well as general office administration/clerical experience
    Experience with electrical and plumbing maintenance/fault identification and handy man tasks in general
    Painting skills
    The ability to work with equipment and power tools such as electrical drills, hammers, levels, painting equipment, etc.
    The ability to work with office equipment such as photocopiers, shredders, binders, etc.
    Knowledge of basic office administration
    Basic numeric & literacy skills
    Basic e-mail skills (MS Outlook)
    Ability to cope with normal day-to-day stresses of work
    Good communications skills
    Willingness to work after hours when required
    Valid Code 08 driver’s license
    Clear criminal and credit record
