Job Title: Autocue Operator

Location:eNCA Africa Department in Johannesburg.

Reporting to the Head: eNCA Africa Editor your key performance areas will include:


    clean up, type and save scripts
    make changes to scripts on air
    operate tele-prompter/ wincue
    receive directives from Director
    interact with other role players
    get involved in production
    operate in a live and pre-record environment


Requirements:

    working knowledge of: - tele-prompter/ wincue
    typing skills
    computer literacy with strong emphasis on the working knowledge of MS WORD
    understanding of:         

                              - broadcasting environment
                              - television terminology
                              - role players
                              - production

    ability to troubleshoot, take direction and work under pressure
    good interpersonal skills and attention to detail
    effective verbal, written and signal communication skills with strong emphasis on English as a communication medium


Note:
The successful candidate will be required to work irregular and long hours, including weekends, public holidays and standby shifts.
This is a contract position only.
