Minimum Requirements:

    Relevant Bachelor's degree with proven experience in terms of administration
    Driver's license
    Extensive relevant experience

Preferred Requirements:

    Budget and financial skills
    Conflict handling skills
    Communication skills and leadership qualities
    Knowledge of municipal administration and finance
    Computer skills

Core Responsibilities:

    Manage income and expenditure for the department according to financial policies & guidelines
    Manage payment of invoices to ensure that expenditure incurred is authorised
    Enable the department to align budgetary spending & project implementation
    Ensure that the department budget is in alliance with the municipality's budget
    Oversee asset management and fleet management within the department
    Compile the IDP for the Division Support Services and set divisional targets
    Represent the department on HR issues in accordance with policies and guidelines
    Co-ordinate all HR issues and the implementation of performance management systems within the department
    Manage the administrative staff
