Requirements: A diploma in General Nursing, a B-Tech Degree/Diploma in Occupational Health Nursing qualification that allows for registration with the SANC.Qualification in primary health cate  and Dispensing will be advantageous.5years experience in providing occupational health services and developing programmes is required.knowledge of an integrated employee wellness model would be an added advantage.strong writing and policy development skills.strong computer skills.good verbal and written communication skills-proficiency in English,ability to work under pressure and in a changing environment.have the ability to work independently.good interpersonal skills.

computer literacy (word,excel,access and power point)knowledge of Batho Pele Principles.Good verbal and writing skills.Good time management skills.

Duties: Plan,develop and administer policies and procedures of occupational Health and Safety.Manage resources to meet the Department's Occupational Health objectives.Provide Occupational Health services to employees that leads to the promotion,protectionn and restoration of the employee's health within a safe working environment.comply with statutory requirements and departmental policies and procedures as well as administrative duties.Develop relevant occupational Health protocols and SOPS.Ensure the rendering of occupational health and occupational injury and disease services to Gauteng Health employees through the means of employee wellness centers.Establish a referral system for institutions,programme development,expansion and implementation and marketing of occupational health services.execute operation work such as medical emergency,PHCand participate in disaster management.work with HR and other stakeholders in the management of absenteeism due to ill health and injury on duty.plan and budget for the occupational health provision.identify training needs and develop programmes.conduct institutional visits to assist in the implementation of occupational health and the management of IOD as well as for monitoring and evaluation.collect and analyse quarterly occupational health statistics from the districts and hospitals.advice the CEOs of institutions on legislated occupational health matters.Ensure promotion of health and well-being through Occupational Health Services.
