Summation
The Teller reports to the Chief Teller/Branch Manager and is responsible for promoting, selling and delivery of all Post Office products and services, effectively and efficiently, thereby ensuring excellent customer service
Key Responsibilities
•The successful incumbent will be responsible to:
•Receive, accept, prepare and deliver all types of mail items (this includes all ordinary mail, all types of recorded and secured mail, courier mail, etc.)
•Promote, sell and deliver all Post Office products and services.
•Manage customer service areas
•Financial and operational control
•Continuous development to improve service delivery
•Housekeeping–Cleanliness of area
Requirements/ Knowledge
•Grade 12 or equivalent NQF 4 qualification with Accounting and/or Mathematics as subjects
•A NQF 5 qualification will be an added advantage
•Minimum of one year in a Consumer Services/banking environment
•Computer literacy
•Fulfilthe terms of FAIS,any related legislation or regulation and any guidelines or regulations issued by the Financial Services Board

•(e.g. FICA, FAIS, PFMA, OHSA etc.)
