The role:

To ensure correct sourcing and compliance to materials supply, through the processing and effective use of codes and governance by managing the sourcing on behalf of end users at the relevant Operation Production Units

Technical work responsibilities:

    Must have in-depth knowledge of materials and technical specifications.

Core work outputs:

    Plan and manage material requirements from end user.
    Ensure operational and sourcing efficiency.
    Interact effectively with customer and production unit colleagues.
    Control risk of and compliance through correct sourcing during creation of requisition process.
    Ensure SAP system integrity.
    Manage and develop end user sourcing templates and business processes.

Required abilities:

    Grade 12 or 1 Year Diploma in Materials, Purchasing or Technical Management or equivalent
    Logistics or technical degree (Advantageous)
    9-12  months Materials Management  and Purchasing experience, utilizing SAP or similar system
    Technical competence in material sourcing to specification.
