MAINTENANCE OPERATOR GR II, (TWO POSDITIONS), INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL: CIVIL MAINTENANCE SECTION B, ENGINEERING, IRON ORE, SISHEN MINE, NORTHERN CAPE.

The role:

•    Adjust equipment for proper operating characteristics according to standard methods and practices.
•    Apply basic diagnostic skills to inspect plant equipment for defects
•    Operate mainly independently
•    Tasks must be executed under instruction of the foreman
•    Participating in Omega/ BBC
•    Ad hoc tasks
•    Responsible for a specific area
•    Housekeeping on FEL’s, Excavators, Dump trucks
•    Operate mainly independently
•    Tasks must be executed under instruction of the foreman
•    Improve housekeeping and adhere to all statutory and company safety requirements

You will need:

•    Ability to work as team
•    Information gathering and problem analysis

•    Communication Skills
•    Able to work Standby

Requirements:

•    Grade 12
•    Valid drivers license Code C1 (Code 10 compulsory -please attach certified copy as proof) and P.D.P
•    Dover test certified
•    1-2 years driving and transport experience

Remuneration:

•    This position is a P6 Kumba Iron Ore grading
•    The initial salary will be determined in accordance with Kumba Iron Ore regulations
