The role
Liaise with business to formulate business specifications and functional descriptions to meet business requirements. Liaise with development team to hand-over functional descriptions. Compile test plans and ensure delivery is according to business requirements. Continuous business and industry research to guide the critical evaluation of new and existing software / application solutions.

Please note there are four positions available.
The requirements

    National Senior Certificate (Grade 12) or National Certificate (Vocational)
    Ideal qualifications:
     
Relevant 3 year degree / diploma in IT
        A formal tertiary qualification (certificate / diploma) in Business Analysis (i.e. through FTI)
    At least 7 years’ proven experience as Business Analyst (BA) in Internet and Mobile channels
    Basic project management experience
    Must have detailed knowledge of:
        IT systems development processes
        Application development
        Business analysis and design
        Standards and governance
        Testing practices
        A relevant process modelling language (i.e. UML)
        Business process modelling (BPM)
    Detailed knowledge of the following would be advantageous:
        Agile development life cycle
        Banking systems and business models
        Best practices for Quality Assurance (QA)
 
Communication skills (written and verbal) in English
    Interpersonal / Relationship management skills
    Negotiation and influencing
    Facilitation
    Presentation skills
    Analytical, diagnostic and problem solving skills
    Business acumen
    Process and organizational thinking
    Attention to detail

    Own transport and valid driver’s license
