The Department of Technical Services: Building and Estates has a permanent position for a Welder at the E’skia Mphahlele Campus.

•    Breakdown maintenance
•    Preventative maintenance
•    Problem prevention
•    Occupational Health and Safety

Minimum Requirements

•    NTC 3 and completed apprenticeship and proof of passing a trade test in terms of the provision of section 13(2) of the Manpower Training act, 1981, as amended, or a Certificate issued under the provision of section 28 or 30 of the Manpower Training Act, 1981.
•    2 years relevant experience
•    Required to work over time
•    Valid driver’s license
•    Own transport
•    Doing after-hour standby duties and attend to call-outs
